I am working in a multi-disciplinary way,
with painting, soundscapes and light installations.
The content of my work is based on a cosmological perspective
and the connection between microcosm and macrocosm.
I often create images of astronomicaland natural, atmospheric optical phenomena
together with plants, trees or other elements from nature which are visualisations
and impressions of the interconnection between the inner and the outer worlds.
I developed an interest in astronomy from an early age, inspired by the vast nightsky
and the magical northern lights, surrounded by the tranquil forests in Sweden,
which are often reflected back into my work.
I often incorporate nature as I wish to convey its serenity and its sublimity, in the light of cosmology.
I look for similarities between ancient philosophies and modern science,
trying to grasp a glimpse of our oneness with the cosmos.
I seek the connection between the visible and invisible, the refraction between
light and darkness and the correlation between colour, form, sound and space.
I often work with the round shape to represents the interconnectedness
in the universe. Rhythms of life are the same in the human body as in the
solar system and galaxies, the microcosm is mirroring the macrocosm.
The circular form represents the interconnectedness, unity, wholeness and infinity.
Atoms, cells, seeds, planets and globular star systems all echo the spherical
paradigm of total inclusion.
Other areas Im working within is art for public spaces
which is made with a holistic approach. I take into consideration
how colour and form affect the viewer. I have an interest in social projects,
especially in healthcare environments and in economically or socially deprived areas.
I am specialized in the connection between art and health;
with a training in anthroposophical art therapy I am incorporating the healing
aspects of colour, form and image when creating public art, aiming to benefit health
and contribute to the well-being of the observer.
Art may broaden the panorama of our vision and may help to create a more
humane environment. I believe there is a transformative power within art that
can act as a catalyst for positive change -
understanding the inner in order to create the outer.
Commissioned work: You can have artwork made for you to your specifications.
I also work with colour-setting of various environments based on colour therapy and
colour psychology. If you are interested in getting artwork made for a specific
environment, please get in touch via the contact form!
For every sold artwork I donate 10 percent of the profit to various
animal welfare organisations in order to contribute
to end animal cruelty.
